The Ordering Process

We print shirts and other garments on a daily basis, so we know the drill. We thought, however, that it would be helpful for some of you if we laid out the process - in a series of steps - of quoting, designing, ordering, and printing your apparel.

Ordering t-shirts online with Soulgear.net is really a simple process. Let's break it down...

Step 1. Getting a Quote

Getting a quote on Soulgear.net is as simple as clicking on whatever garment you'd like and entering in the pertinent information about your print - your quantities, # of print locations, and # of colors in each print. If you don't yet know the details of your design, we will cover it in Step 2. Design.

The pricing you'll receive is ALL INCLUSIVE. Meaning this is the final cost you will pay to get the shirts to your door - nothing additional. We even include tax, so there are no surprises.


Some thoughts about pricing:

  • Quantity is important. The larger your order, the cheaper it is per shirt.
  • Colors add to the cost. If you're looking to cut costs, you may consider a less color detailed print.
  • White tees generally cost less than their colored counterparts. Again, if you are looking to cut costs, whites may be the way to go.
  • Add a Soulgear.net sleeve logo for a mini-sponsorship / discount. It's not huge, but for some events, every penny counts.


Step 2. Designing Your Apparel

Some customers know exactly how they want their print. Their art is designed and finished, and ready to go. To others that have a blank slate, the freedom to be creative can be an exciting prospect. That freedom, however, can be daunting. We've got you both covered.

Whether you have your art ready to go or are looking for inspiration, you will be paired with one of our designers to make sure everything comes out beautifully. Our designers can help with alignment, sizing, coloration - or any other general help your art might need. They can even create a custom design from scratch. ALL FOR FREE.

Some thoughts about artwork:

  • If you already have artwork ready to go:
    • You can upload the files during the order process.
    • You can attach art to an order at any time by logging in to your account and clicking on my orders
    • You can send it over by way of email to your customer service representative.
  • File types:
    • We can almost always handle whatever format you have art in. Generally, the easiest route is for you to send over what you have so that we can take a look.
    • If you do have art in an editable eps or Illustrator file, our designers will have a special place for you in their heart.

Step 3. Placing Your Order

We have designed the new Soulgear.net to create the web's easiest, most straightforward way for race directors to order their custom apparel.

Browse through the products to see what garment fits your race and budget. Once there, just choose your quantities and print details to get a price or add to your cart for checkout. Don't hesitate to get a hold of us with questions about products or the process in general. We can even take the order directly over the phone.

Step 4. Payment

Payment is typically handled in one of two ways. Some customers like make the full payment upon ordering. Others prefer to put half down at the time of ordering, with the final payment due upon shipment. Credit cards may be processed through the website or over the phone.

**In the event that a final cost has yet to be determined and you would like to get started on the design process, you may place an ART DEPOSIT of $100 that will be credited toward your final payment.

Step 5. Proof Approval

The final step in completing your order is to give written APPROVAL ON FINAL ART PROOF. These steps are part of our quality control process, designed to keep mistakes and errors to an absolute minimum - and help us continue to serve race directors with the great service we are known for. Step 6. Delivery

Our standard, FREE SHIPPING is UPS Ground. Delivery takes between 1-3 Business days. (If you need your stuff faster, another method can be arranged.) You can expect a projected delivery date and tracking number upon shipment.
